Orientation is required for all accepted incoming freshmen, transfer, second bachelor鈥檚 degree, campus transfer, returning students and non-degree seeking (visiting) undergraduate students.
Orientation will provide new 橙子影院 students with an overview of the resources available to students at 橙子影院.聽聽Your student will also meet with an advisor, obtain a student identification card, meet other incoming Camels and complete other important enrollment tasks.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet with various departments and have pertinent questions answered.聽 Advice will also be given on how to help your student transition from high school to college living.
Learn more about OrientationStudents must submit a deposit for enrollment. This $250 deposit is important because it lets the university know to hold the student’s space.
The enrollment deposit isn鈥檛 a fee over and above tuition. The enrollment deposit is credited towards the tuition for the first semester of school.
Without paying the enrollment deposit, your student cannot be added to the Housing List or able to receive a course schedule. This delay can cause problems if there is a specific housing request or roommate preference. Housing assignments are first-come, first-served, so the earlier the Admissions Office gets the deposit, the more likely these housing requests can be honored.
The enrollment deposit also allows the university to plan for your student’s attendance. It makes sure things are set up for him/her such as access to email and library resources.
Visit our Enrollment Deposits page for more details.
All first-time, full-time students are required to live on campus for the first three years (6 semesters of enrollment) unless one of the following criteria is met:
- Student is married
- Student is 21 years of age
- Student is commuting from the primary residence of a parent or legal guardian within a 30 mile radius of Buies Creek.
