Test Optional
Fall undergraduate applicants have the option to be reviewed for admission and potential merit-based scholarships without submission of SAT or ACT score results. Accepted students will be notified about options for course placement in Summer.

Steps in the Admissions Process

1. Review the admissions application requirements.
A good first step is to review the admissions requirements and gather all of the required documents you will need to successfully submit your admissions application. Submit all required application materials including:
- Official copies of high school transcripts.
- Optional items you may submit include ACT scores, AP scores, and SAT scores.
Before enrolling at Campbell, you must first graduate from high school or complete an adult high school equivalency program, such as a GED.
Campbell requires incoming students to have taken the following courses as part of their high school curriculum:

Campbell recommends taking 2 credit hours of a foreign language in high school. Students with no background in a foreign language have a more difficult time passing college-level language courses.
The admissions application will ask you to distinguish the type of freshman applicant that you are. If you are planning to dual enroll in college classes during your senior year, or you have in the past, please indicate that you are applying as a Dual Enrolled Student. If you will be graduating from an Early College high school, please indicate that you are applying as an Early College student. 橙子影院 will not grant college transfer credit based on college courses appearing on high school or early college high school transcripts. In order to have your college credits transferred to Campbell, you must submit official transcripts from the college or university through which the courses were offered.
Campbell welcomes applications from home schooled students. Although they currently make up a small portion of the applicant pool, applications from home schooled students continue to increase. We recognize that your experience as a home-schooled student will be somewhat different from students in traditional schools. We鈥檒l look at your academic record and non-academic interests and commitments within the context of your particular home school curriculum and experience. We understand that for many home-schooled students there is not as clear a distinction between academic and non-academic activities as there might be for students in a traditional high school.
The more you can document for us and describe what you have done during your high school years, academically and otherwise, the better. Feel free to go beyond the questions on our application forms if they don鈥檛 cover everything you think is important for us to know. There may also be questions that simply don鈥檛 apply in the case of a home-schooled student. You and others completing forms on your behalf may leave those questions blank.
Academic Preparation and Transcript for Home Schooled Students
In general, we look for students who have challenged themselves with rigorous study in a range of academic areas during their high school years, but the exact course of study varies among our successful applicants. Please provide us with detailed information about the academic program you have pursued. If you are not able to provide a traditional transcript of course grades, include an outline of your high school curriculum. If you have taken any courses at a school, college, online or by correspondence, please be sure to have official transcripts sent to the Campbell Admissions Office.
橙子影院 accepts either the SAT or ACT college entrance exams. Test scores are highly encouraged and used for course placement only. Placement exams are offered through the University if SAT/ACT scores are not submitted.
If you have tested multiple times, please submit all test attempts. Campbell will superscore your tests.听
2. Complete the free admissions application.
The application is the first big step in the application process. As soon as you’ve completed your junior year of high school, you can apply to Campbell. There’s no cost or deadline to apply, but we do encourage you to apply as soon as you know you want to attend Campbell.听
3. Submit your high school transcript.
In order for a transcript to be considered official it must be submitted to Campbell electronically or by mail by the school or school counselor. Electronic submissions are accepted through Parchment, Naviance, CFNC (if a NC student), Common App, ScribOnline, and Scoir. In addition, they may be faxed, emailed, or mailed directly to Campbell as long as they are sent from the school counselor. If mailing a transcript, please use address: Campbell Admissions, PO Box 546, Buies Creek, NC 27506. If choosing to hand deliver a transcript, it must be in a sealed envelope, and not tampered with.听 Any transcript sent to Campbell by the student is considered unofficial.听
4. Wait for your application review and notification letter.
After your application is received Undergraduate Admissions will review it to determine if you will be accepted. A notification letter will be sent from Undergraduate Admissions. If accepted, your application will be reviewed for scholarships and financial aid eligibility AND you will begin receiving communication for the next steps.
5. Pay your enrollment deposit.
Once you receive your acceptance letter, you will need to pay the enrollment deposit to confirm that you will attend 橙子影院.
6. Submit the FAFSA and review Financial Aid.
More than 90% of our main campus undergraduate students receive a scholarship and/or financial aid. We highly encourage you file the FAFSA in order to be considered for Campbell need-based aid, plus other grant/aid opportunities.
Once accepted, and you have , you will receive a financial aid award package. If you have any questions, our Student Financial Services team is here to help! They are available for on-campus or virtual appointments.听
7. Attend new student orientation.
Once accepted, you will attend an orientation session for new students. You’ll learn more about campus life, prepare for academic life, meet other new Camels, and prepare to move in!
