Mission

The mission and purpose of the Human Resources Department of 橙子影院 is to perform general personnel functions in order to meet the needs of the staff and faculty of every school and department. These needs include recruitment for open positions, processing of new employees, maintaining personnel files on each employee, providing employee training and serving as the benefits administrator.

Human Resources assist in the preparation of job notices and advertise most of the available positions on the Human Resources webpage, local newspapers and on employment websites. Received, reviewed and submitted applications are forwarded to departments for consideration in open positions. Original applications are maintained in Human Resources for future positions. Each staff position is required to have a written job description.

Human Resources maintain a personnel file on every employee. Personnel files include copies of all written evaluations on an annual basis, benefits forms completed by the employee, changes in pay status or position and disciplinary records.

The Human Resources Department maintains the Human Resources section of the University website. In addition to maintaining and updating job listings, the webpage has a list of benefits including summaries, as well as, direct links to the insurance companies. All of the benefits forms and necessary forms for new hires are available online. The employment application can now be completed online, along with other new hire Human Resources forms.

Through the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Human Resources sponsor a Diabetes Program which is offered to employees and family members on the Campbell medical insurance plan. The deductible is waived for supplies with the employee’s continued participation in this program.

Human Resources have been working with co-workers in developing health care programs for employees. Step Aerobics, Water Aerobics, a walking trail, and Wellness Classes continue to provide objectives towards improved health and well-being. An annual Health Fair is held in the spring. The annual event provides information on diabetes, breast cancer, blood pressure, blood sugar, exercising and much more.

The Annual Benefit Renewal Meeting is held in November of each year. Representatives from each of the benefit companies are present to discuss the changes and options of each plan. Emails are sent out to faculty and staff announcing the date and time for these meetings.
