Non-Department Specific/Private Endowed Scholarships

The 2024-2025 Non-Department Specific/Private Endowed Scholarship Application cycle will open March 1st, 2024.聽 The application will close May 1st, 2024. Scholarship selections are made after May 1st, 2024. Students will receive email notifications between June-August if selected.

Antioch Baptist Church Undergraduate Endowed Scholarship

Donors William E. “Ed” and Sadie P. Byrd, residents of Lee County, North Carolina are faithful supporters who love Antioch Baptist Church. They both grew up in Antioch with encouragement and nurturing loving parents, families, and were also married at Antioch Baptist Church.

The scholarship agreement requires that the scholarship be awarded to a full-time student(s) with financial need, and/or demonstrated academic ability with preference being given in the following order:聽

  • A member of a family of the Antioch Baptist Church聽
  • Residents of Mamers, North Carolina
  • Residents of Harnett County聽
  • Resident of North Carolina聽

Benson Baptist Church Undergraduate Endowed Scholarship聽

The Trustees of Benson Baptist Church of Benson North Carolina are interested in the cause of Christian higher education and desire to contribute certain of their property to Campbell College to be used in support of its mission of affording a program of Christian higher education to young men and women. The trust is created in honor and remembrance of members of the Benson Baptist Church of Benson, North Carolina.

The scholarship agreement requires that the scholarship be awarded to a full-time student(s) with financial need, and/or demonstrated academic ability, with preference being given in the following order:聽

  • A member of a family of the Benson Baptist Church of Benson, North Carolina
  • Any qualified student from a South Johnston High School attendance area of Johnston County, North Carolina
  • Resident of North Carolina

Center Baptist Church of Wade, North Carolina Scholarship

The Trustees of Center Baptist Church of Wade, North Carolina are interested in the cause of Christian higher education and desires to contribute certain of its property to 橙子影院 to be used in support of its mission of affording a program of Christian higher education to young men and women. The trust is created to honor and remember members of the Center Baptist Church of Wade, North Carolina.

The scholarship agreement requires that the scholarship be awarded to a full-time student(s) with financial need, and/or demonstrated academic ability, with preference being given in the following order:聽

  • Member of a family of the Center Baptist Church of Wade, North Carolina
  • Any qualified student from the New South River Baptist Association聽
  • Resident of North Carolina聽

Central VA Robert L. Fitch Family Endowed Scholarship

Donors Robert Fitch and Susan Fitch, residents of Richmond County, State of Virginia created this scholarship fund that will provide financial assistance to worthy students while at the same time supporting the great cause of Christian education.聽

The scholarship agreement requires that the scholarship be awarded to a full-time student(s) with financial need, and/or demonstrated academic ability, with preference being given in the following order:聽

  • Graduate of a private, public, or home school in Richmond, Virginia
  • Graduate of a private, public, or home school in Chesterfield County, Henrico County, or other areas in close proximity to Richmond, Virginia

Emmett C. Aldredge, Sr. & Edna Bales Aldredge Endowed Scholarship

The Emmett C. Aldredge, Sr. & Edna Bales Aldredge Endowed Scholarship was set up in honor of Mr. Emmet C. Aldredge Jr. and Mrs. Anne Aldredge Greer鈥檚 parents. It is to provide financial assistance to worthy students while at the same time, supporting the great cause of Christian education and the endeavors of 橙子影院 in the field of higher education. Preference shall be given to the following undergraduate and graduate students who:

  • Extent allowed by law and wherever possible to the lineal descendants of Emmet C. Aldredge Sr. and Edna Bales Aldredge
  • To eligible current employees (or spouse or children of current employees) of Machine Welding and Supply Company or future companies owned by Emmet C. Aldredge Jr. and Anne Aldredge Greer
  • To any students whose home of record is in North Carolina

George and Annie Brown Endowment Scholarship

Annie Laurie Brown, a resident of Duplin County, North Carolina has for many years, been interested in and committed to the cause of Christian higher education. The purpose of the scholarship is to create a memorial to honor the lives of the two persons in whose memory the fund is created and to make it possible for worthy young Christian people who for financial reasons might otherwise be deprived of a college education to attend 橙子影院.

The scholarship agreement requires that the scholarship be awarded to a full-time student(s) with financial need, and/or demonstrated academic ability, with preference being given in the following order:聽

  • A member of, or whose family is a member of the First Baptist Church of Wallace, of Duplin County, North Carolina
  • A member of any Baptist Church of Duplin County, North Carolina
  • A qualified student accepted for matriculation by 橙子影院聽

Harnett County Retired School Personnel Endowment

The Harnett County Retired School Personnel Endowment is a fund established by the North Carolina Community Foundation, Inc. and the Harnett County Retired School Personnel.

This scholarship will be awarded to full-time student who is a graduate of a Harnett County High School and at least a rising Sophomore at 橙子影院 who exhibits financial need, personal initiative and community involvement.


Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church聽

Donors William E. “Ed” and Sadie P. Byrd, residents of Lee County, North Carolina are faithful, dedicated, and longtime members of Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church in Sanford, North Carolina. The Donors have many years of extended family, personal love,聽support, admiration and service for 橙子影院; Ed’s service includes many terms as a聽distinguished聽Trustee, Presidential Board of Advisors and committee聽memberships聽with Sadie’s faithful, dedicated support聽always聽at Ed’s side. It is the intent of the donors to create a scholarship fund that will provide financial assistance to worthy students while at the same time supporting the great cause of Christian education and the endeavors of the College of Arts & Sciences of Campbell聽University聽in the field of higher education.

The scholarship agreement requires that the scholarship be awarded to a full-time student(s) with financial need, and/or demonstrated academic ability, with preference being given in the following order:聽

  • A student affiliated with any Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church, member of Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church, family members of the Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church聽
  • Any qualified resident of Sanford, North Carolina
  • Qualified resident of Lee County, North Carolina
  • Resident of North Carolina聽

Margaret B. Vann Scholarship聽

In memory of Margaret B. Vann, the purpose of this fund is to award one or more undergraduate or graduate scholarships in each school year to such student(s) who satisfactorily demonstrates character and academic ability to the members of the scholarship committee of 橙子影院.

The scholarship agreement requires that the scholarship be awarded to a full-time student(s) with financial need, and/or demonstrated academic ability, with preference being given in the following order:聽

  • A member of, or whose family is a member of, the First Baptist Church of Wallace, of Duplin County, North Carolina and is a resident of Duplin County, North Carolina聽
  • A resident of Duplin County, North Carolina聽
  • Any qualified student accepted for matriculation by 橙子影院聽
