Bill Clearance

Bill Clearance must be granted each semester before the student may attend classes or move into campus housing. Students not receiving Bill Clearance by the deadline are subject to losing their housing assignment and may also be subject to a schedule drop.听 A notification appears in the student’s TouchNet Portal when Bill Clearance is given for the current semester.听听

Bill Clearance Requirements听

1. STUDENT FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AGREEMENT must be signed each semester and is located in the Student Finance section of the self-service portal.听 By signing this form, the student acknowledges and accepts their financial responsibility to 橙子影院. Students are encouraged to read this agreement and contact the 橙子影院 Bursar’s Office with any questions.

2. STUDENT FINANCIAL CHECK-IN will tell the Bursar’s Office how you intend to pay for your student account each semester. Please be sure to include any information in the comment section with additional details regarding scholarships and/or aid that are not yet showing on the student account.

3. MAKE A PAYMENT on your account.听 Payment is due by August 5 for fall and January 5 for spring for any balance not covered by Financial Aid.听 A payment plan can be set up through the student’s TouchNet Portal but the first payment must be received in order to obtain bill clearance.听 All balances from a prior semester, fines or fees must be paid in full.

4. SUBMIT NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION for military or other third-party tuition assistance with your campus location’s certifying official.

Other Tasks to Complete

WAIVE/ENROLL STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE each academic year. 橙子影院 requires all full-time main campus undergraduate, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (CPHS), and School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM) students to either submit a waiver with proof of existing coverage or enroll in the student insurance plan each academic year. International Students are required to enroll in the student insurance plan.听听

Waive/Enroll in Student Health Insurance

ENROLL IN eREFUNDS through your TouchNet payment portal.听 If you are expecting a refund, please consider enrolling in electronic refunds in order to receive your refund by direct deposit.听 It eliminates the risk of your refund being lost or returned, insures much faster receipt of your refund and notifies you when a refund has been processed.听 From the TouchNet home page, select the “Enroll in eRefunds” link in the box on the right of the screen. Complete the 2-step verification and then enter your bank account and routing numbers.听 听

RESERVE TEXTBOOKS through the Camel Direct Textbook Rental program.听 This program provides all main campus undergraduate students access to required textbooks, lab manuals, and computer codes for an affordable flat rate per semester.听

COMPLETE THE FERPA RELEASE FORM听or the (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) is a Federal law that protects the confidentiality of student information.听 More specifically, FERPA protects personally identifiable information in students鈥 education records from disclosure without written consent unless an exception to the consent requirement applies.听听
